The town of Wunsdorf is located south of Berlin, bordering the slightly smaller town of Zossen. Bücher- und Bunkerstadt, meaning the city of books and bunkers.

Taking advantage of the beautiful weather, I went to the village of Blankensee, which is located by the lake of the same name.

For a European, this feels unusual. Back home, we’re constantly reminded to reduce plastic, attach bottle caps, and change daily habits to fight climate change. Meanwhile in Malaysia, fresh coconut water is served in a plastic bag, and nobody questions it 🌏
It surprised me at first. But then I realized this is exactly why I travel. To see how different the world really is ✈️
Different priorities, different realities, different everyday life.
And somehow… it was still the best coconut water I’ve ever had 🤍

Dla Europejki to coś niezwykłego. U nas stale przypomina się o ograniczaniu plastiku, przytwierdza nakrętki do butelek i zmienia codzienne nawyki, aby walczyć ze zmianami klimatu. Tymczasem w Malezji świeża woda kokosowa podawana jest w plastikowej torebce i nikogo to nie dziwi 🌏
Na początku mnie to zaskoczyło. Ale właśnie dlatego podróżuję. Aby zobaczyć, jak bardzo różni się codzienne życie w innych częściach świata ✈️ Inne priorytety, inna rzeczywistość, inne podejście.
A mimo to… była to najlepsza woda kokosowa, jaką piłam 🤍
