Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon was filled with an incredible amount of ice, and Diamond Beach was covered in huge ice blocks. I’ve visited this area before, but I’ve never seen it look this dramatic. I got attacked by some of the most aggressive birds in Iceland! There are only a few places on the island where you can experience this, and they're all clearly marked. This one is located next to Vatnajökull Café. Every year, Arctic terns return here to lay their eggs. White, incredibly fast, and very loud, they'll do everything they can to protect their nests. As you'll see in this video, even a simple stop for coffee can turn into quite a challenge... and a lot of fun. I waited two months for this shot. Iceland can look like the most beautiful place in the world, but living on this island teaches you patience very quickly. The weather here is unpredictable. One moment it rains, then the wind picks up, then everything turns grey, and sometimes even a beautiful sunny day is not enough, because the wind can ruin the whole plan. I had this shot in my head for a long time. But every time I had a day off, the weather basically said: keep dreaming. And then today, it finally happened. I was lying on a little bridge above a stream, the drone was flying over my head, the water was flowing beneath me, and for a moment, everything looked exactly the way I had imagined it.
