Which trail to Wysoka Kopa? If you have a car, I recommend the loop from Rozdroże Izerskie – it is a very popular route. I, however, chose the route from the train station in Szklarska Poręba, which is 8 kilometers one way. Despite it being peak season, I encountered only three people on the trail. One man with a dog near Wysoki Kamień, one runner halfway through, and a cyclist near the summit. If you value peace, silence, and a full immersion in nature, this will be the best choice!
Loop: Szklarska Poręba – Wysoki Kamień – Wysoka Kopa – Wysoki Kamień – Szklarska Poręba
One of the easier, less demanding trails. The steepest section of the route, about 300 meters long, is from the train station to Wysoki Kamień. There is also the option to finish the route at the second train station in Szklarska Poręba.
Loop: Rozdroże Izerskie – Zwalisko – Wysoka Kopa – Przednia Kopa – Sine Skałki – Rozdroże Izerskie
The shortest trail to Wysoka Kopa starts from a large parking lot at Rozdroże Izerskie, which can only be reached by car. Going left, clockwise, you will encounter a steeper ascent, which is better for reaching the summit. Your knees and thighs will thank you for this choice.

The most difficult and demanding trail. Almost 5 kilometers of steep ascent and an elevation gain of 859 meters. The trail mostly follows the Main Sudeten Trail. There is an option to finish the route at the train station in Szklarska Poręba.
Loop: Przełęcz Szklarska – Wysoka Kopa – Przełęcz Szklarska

Protection of Wysoka Kopa Summit: No Entry Due to the Presence of an Endangered Species
A few years ago, a capercaillie, an endangered bird species from the grouse family, settled on the summit of Wysoka Kopa. Its presence in this area led to the closure of the summit to tourists, in order to protect and preserve the natural habitat for this and other endangered species.
The decision to impose the entry ban is aimed at allowing the capercaillie to forage, breed, and protect its habitat in peace. This is an essential step to preserving the biodiversity of the Izera Mountains and maintaining the natural balance of the ecosystem.

The protection of endangered animal species is a key issue in striving for the sustainable development of our natural environment. Emphasizing the need for respect and care for our natural heritage.
Where Can I Find the Wysoka Kopa Stamp?

The Wysoka Kopa stamp has been placed in several locations to allow tourists to collect a souvenir stamp. It can be found, among other places, on the red trail, near the designated summit marker, about 400 meters from the shelter. Another location is the Wysoki Kamień Shelter, where you can also get the stamp. Additionally, the stamp is available at the tourist information point in Szklarska Poręba.
