Dos Tacos – a little Mexico in the Capital
Authentic Mexican cuisine, a cozy atmosphere, original mezcal, and no need to fly to Mexico!
I discovered Dos Tacos during a visit to Warsaw with my brothers. From the moment we entered, the unique atmosphere was palpable. The restaurant is filled with vibrant colors, and the Aztec drawings on the ceiling are simply breathtaking. The staff was very friendly, immediately seated us at a table, and provided the menu.

If it’s Mexican cuisine, then of course tacos! I also added Pozole soup, Quesadillas, and Fajitas. The first thing that arrived at our table were the salsas we ordered, along with Nachos and a jug of cold lemonade. We didn’t have to wait long for the main dishes.
The food was excellently prepared, served on colorful plates—a feast for the palate. The portions were large and hearty, and leaving even a crumb would be a sin. At the end, I decided to try Mexican mezcal. What is it? Outside of Mexico, the most known variant is Tequila. However, unlike tequila, Mezcal is not a distillate made from fermented juice but from the heart of the agave, and often it contains a larva that feeds on the agave. It was served in an elongated glass with a piece of orange seasoned with pepper and ground worm salt. It tastes much better than it sounds!
