Festival of Lights – Castle Książ

In 2019, for the first time at Książ Castle in Wałbrzych, the Książ Gardens lit up with thousands of lights. For five months, visitors could enjoy the spectacular light festival.

The Light Gardens at Książ Castle were available for viewing from November 8th to March 31st. Light streams flowed from the fountain, glowing flowers blossomed on the Rose Terrace, and the Western Terrace was transformed into a real ballroom. A highlight of the walk through the illuminated gardens was a magical light show set to music, which took place every 25 minutes.

The walk through the gardens was rather short, and I was hoping for a bit more light attractions, although the light show was excellently done. The festival attracted quite a crowd, so I think it might become a recurring event in the coming years.
