Serengeti Park

Looking for a way to spend the long weekend, my friends and I came up with the idea of visiting a safari park, specifically Serengeti Park, located between Hamburg and Hannover.

Our destination was about 300 kilometers away, so our group of four set off early in the morning on a trip to Hodenhagen, the town where Serengeti Park is situated.

Upon arrival, we bought tickets at a price of about 25 euros per person. We had the choice of entering with our own car or taking a bus tour, both at similar prices. We opted for the first option and headed towards the entrance. We drove through enclosures that were separated from each other, each housing different species of animals. Before entering the enclosures with dangerous animals, it was mandatory to close the windows. However, the giraffe’s head in the car, searching for treats, was also quite dangerous, as well as amusing.

The next stage was the parking lot near the elephant enclosure, from where we could head towards the amusement park. It featured several great water attractions, ranging from a leisurely boat tour to riding a speedboat and doing “donuts” on the lake. You couldn’t stay dry, not even in the queue!

We discovered the small animal enclosures a bit late, just half an hour before the end of visiting hours. However, we managed to enter one with lemurs, who eagerly jumped around us.

If my article helped you plan your route and gather the necessary information, I would be grateful for your support in making my dreams come true by buying me a coffee!
